Lisa Simon

Lisa Simon

Practice Owner - MS, LPC

Lisa Simon is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also a member of the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA), the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH), and the International Association of Eating Disorders Professional Foundation (IADEP). She received her undergraduate and master’s degree’s from the University of Miami.

Lisa is the owner and creator of Therapy For Success, a private niche practice specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and food and weight related disorders.She used her passion of helping other people to create Therapy For Success to help those struggling from these diseases. She works with men and women of all ages, helping them to overcome their afflictions with food. She has counseled individuals in the most intense hospital inpatient settings and in outpatient settings and helped them accomplish independent lifestyles in the community. She is constantly studying and training in order to provide therapy for success and healing. Her caring approach and commitment to help people overcome difficult life issues is unique. Lisa has an insurmountable knack and spirit, and brings creativity and energy combined with a wealth of professional and personal experience to each of her clients.

Laura York

Laura York

Laura York is a board certified and nationally registered Art Therapist, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She got started practicing Art Therapy in Philadelphia with women, children, and families with substance abuse issues. Through this, she became well-versed in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, therapies used to re-frame thought and behavioral patterns that just aren’t working. Laura also specializes in food, eating, and weight concerns, as well as trauma, anxiety, depression, and communication between families and couples. Along with this, Laura is trained in Mindfulness practice and often incorporates this into the therapeutic process. Laura believes in the healing power of laughter, and will incorporate this into session whenever possible. She also provides ATR-BC and LPC group and individual supervision.

Marirose Benedict

Marirose Benedict

Marirose Benedict is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College in athletic training, sport, and exercise psychology, and is trained in treating nutritional and weight related disorders. She received her master’s degree in counseling psychologyAdd From Library from Temple University. She began her career working with children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues and has a depth of experience treating food addiction and weight disorders. Marirose also specializes in trauma, addiction, and communication barriers in relationships. Marirose is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, and will incorporate this into the therapeutic process to help reframe unhelpful thoughts and behavioral patterns. Marirose believes in building strong relationships with her clients, and is passionate about helping others to overcome obstacles in their personal and professional lives.

Elyse Parcher

Elyse Parcher

Elyse Parcher is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has been specializing in eating disorder treatment since starting her career as a Psychotherapist in 2014. She received her bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University. She then earned her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Health Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Elyse began her career facilitating meal support groups in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. Elyse also served as Clinical Director of Seeds of Hope in Center City. Elyse has valuable experience in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care for eating disorder treatment. She believes in all of her clients, even when they struggle to believe in themselves. Elyse emphasized self-worth and identity as crucial components of the recovery process, working with clients to develop tools and techniques to alleviating their eating disorder and start living happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Christina Garcia

Christina Garcia

LPC

Christina Garcia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Temple University and her master of science degree from Chestnut Hill College. Christina is certified in cognitive therapy from the Beck Community Initiative.
She is a compassionate mental health professional with ten years of varied experience in direct practice and leadership. Christina is masterful in providing therapeutic services to individuals of all ages and families through an informed approach of Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She uses her passion to work with the eating disorder population and offers a collaborative process, with a relational framework. Christina uses an integration of evidence based practices with multicultural considerations and is bilingual in conversational Spanish.
Elizabeth Geiger

Elizabeth Geiger

LSW, BBA

Elizabeth Geiger is a Licensed Social Worker, Bilingual in Conversational
Russian, Adolescent Therapist, and Certified Family Forensic Expert specializing in supervised visitation with children and adolescents. She is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and served on the Board for both the New York and Boston Chapter. She received her undergraduate degree from the Pace University Lubin School of Business and master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work.

She started her career working in an outpatient setting helping adolescents and young adults struggling with disordered eating, school adjustment difficulties, high risk pregnancies, postpartum depression, relationship issues, familial discord, and anxiety related disorders. She uses a compassionate and strengths based approach in her work with adolescents.

She has experience in supporting individuals and families struggling with an eating disorder. disorder.  Elizabeth also served as a Senior Regional Manager for a nationally recognized eating disorder program and helped families, adolescents, and young adults access treatment services. She developed relationships locally and nationally with outpatient therapists, medical providers, dieticians, and other treatment facilities with the goal of creating the best customer service experience that individuals struggling can have on their journey into treatment and afterwards. She believes in full recovery from an eating disorder and understands the importance of
continued supportive therapeutic care to help you transition back into everyday life.

Elizabeth values humor, compassion, and learning to understand an individual’s personal story to guide her in helping people accept themselves and live their best life possible.
